Since its founding in 2011 by Richard J. Kuehn, Hands to Help Seniors has been working as a premier response organization to help seniors cope with the financial demands caused by the myriad of cuts to seniors programs and retirement fund assets not keeping up with the cost of living. As part of a growing movement that offers neutral humanitarian care to the elderly, Hands to Help Seniors distinguishes itself by being one of the only non-profits that aims to help seniors in all venues of life that they are struggling to deal with. The organization will continue to expand its services, always with the aim of preventing and relieving the financial suffering of seniors.
Today, Hands to Help Seniors offers compassionate services in eight key areas: personal attendant services related to private duty care; companion care; personal care; homemaking & housekeeping services; transportation; assistance with paying bills; home and property maintenance; and information on educational programs that promote health and safety.
Hands to Help Seniors is where people rally to help their neighbors—across the street, across the county, and across the state in times of financial need. Each year, in communities large and small, victims of financial downturns and economic crises turn to our volunteers and employees for compassionate help.
Hands to Help Seniors is headquartered in Monterey, California. Richard J. Kuehn is President and CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Governors, with Jeannette K. Witten serving as Chief Financial Officer, Mary Allred as the Secretary of the Board of Governors, and Lindsay Hoover as the Marketing Officer on the Board of Governors.
